You Too Can Have An Obedient Dog!
“Teacher, my dog ate my homework!”
Sounds like a bad episode of an old “Dennis the Menace” tv episode. But it’s not – it happened in real life. And I literally had to email my son’s teacher before school one morning to tell her my son would be arriving in class with some hastily “repaired” pages to an assignment that he had been diligently working on for hours the night before. Face it – we’ve all heard that homework “cliché” before. I wouldn’t blame her if she had trouble believing him. (Except for the fact, of course, that he is a good student!) Thank goodness she did believe him (noting that she DID appreciate my emailed explanation!) and all was well…
Except for the fact that my paper-loving dog had struck yet once again!
Let me explain first that our dog Hunter is not a puppy – he’s a full grown, almost 12-year-old labrador/dalmatian mix (who we affectionately refer to as a Labmatian!). And he’s a good dog (even without any dog obedience training) – he really always has been: very few accidents in the house training phase, very affectionate and mild-mannered, playfully fun and great with people. He’s not even a “chewer” – except for all things paper!
We joked that if you left a plate of food on the table with a paper napkin next to it, he’d leave the food alone and swipe the napkin! Heck, he’d grab the napkin right off your lap!
So what DO you do with a “mature” (Hunter doesn’t like the word “old”!) dog with a bad habit?
Can You Teach An Old Dog New Tricks? (New tricks in this case = stopping bad behavior!)
I began my own diligent homework quest and discovered not only a solution but THE Solution:
Daniel Stevens’ Amazing
“Secrets To Dog Training: Stop Your Dog’s Behavior Problems”!

Wow! I thought, “If only I’d had this course when we first got Hunter!”
And, remember, except for the “paper problem”, even with no dog obedience training, he’s a pretty obedient dog. But the printed course itself is 260 pages chock-full of information that EVERY dog owner should know! (And that’s only ONE part of the program – he’s also included downloadable videos, mp3′s, and several more bonuses! You can see an overview of all the stuff in the package just above ^.)
[The course itself is instantly downloadable after purchase (I received login information to the Secrets to Dog Training members' website) and I began reading it immediately. (Note that Daniel offers a 100%, 60-day, no hassle, MoneyBack guarantee which gave me full assurance I could check out the program risk-free.)]
After reading just the first few pages, I learned that I had purely by trial-and-error done some things right in “raising” Hunter; however, I could have saved a ton of time implementing the right tactics and training from the start, instead of changing the plan midstream and confusing the poor dog. Example: the dog poops on the rug; we’re supposed to rub his nose in it, right?? WRONG!! And Daniel will explain why and why/when you should actually give your dog a TREAT in the very same spot where he pooped!! No way?!!!!

The first thing I learned? A dog with “no positive dog obedience training” actually IS being trained (albeit stuff you really don’t want him to learn!) And most often his canine instincts are teaching him how to train YOU (definitely something you don’t want him to learn!)
-
The second thing I learned is that dogs actually WANT to know their “position” in the family. With the proper obedience training, your dog will be very happy with the position that you give him. And YOU will love the corresponding appropriate behavior that you expect from him!
-
The third revelation to me was discovering that the first two things are fundamental to understanding a dog and his behavior and encouraging good behavior and eliminating bad behavior. No matter what problems you might be facing with your dog, there is a loving, humane, and rewarding way for you and your dog to become best friends again!
Is your dog aggressive? Does he bark incessantly? Or make messes in the house? So did these owners’ dogs. Then they discovered Daniel Steven’s “Secrets To Dog Training” system and it’s a brand new life around their homes.
